Abstract Submission Extension – CLOSED
Due to inclement weather conditions on the East Coast, we’ve received several requests for an additional extension which we are happy to announce. February 19 is the new deadline for submission of contributions. Abstracts submitted before February 12 will be reviewed first and a note will be sent to the authors concerning acceptance/rejection of their submission within the next week. If you have any questions about the review of your abstract, please contact the Program Chair at pbonato@mit.edu.
Submit a Poster Presentation – CLOSED
We cordially invite you to participate in this conference by submitting a one page abstract by February 19, 2010. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and considered for poster presentation. Authors whose abstracts are accepted have an opportunity to create a short multi-media web presentation that will serve as a general overview of the most essential concepts of their poster presentations. Each web presentation should be limited to about three minutes and five slides. The presentation should be uploaded to slideshare. (Presenters can see an example of such a slidecast on this website here). Authors will also be expected to present their posters at the conference. Abstracts should be prepared according to the template and submitted via email to ama-embs@ieee.org as a Microsoft Word document.
Suggest a Session Topic – CLOSED
You can suggest session topics to the Organizing Committee. We have set up a blog as part of the Conference Website that you can use to contribute your thoughts on what is next in Individualized Healthcare. Please provide your input by February 19, 2010 so that we can consider including your suggestions in the program. The Organizing Committee will contact you if the session you propose is considered to be meritorious. The decision will be left to the Organizing Committee and contacts will be made on a case-by-case basis to work with the individual or group that proposed the session to finalize it and include it in the program.
